SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed in regards to the large quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to read more your higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to more info service the area each day. The assistance point developed for intervention activities a high influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it tricky with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and raise usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
